By road

The post code is G63 0AR for putting into your sat nav or route planner.  Note:  Look for the Rowardennan Hotel on the left, enter the car park and drive through the gate in the left corner, follow the road down towards the loch and around to the right, you will then see 'the hoot' lodge 29 on your right.

Train services

First Scotrail runs a service from Glasgow Queen Street to Balloch (around 30min), it is possible to then catch the bus to Balmaha (15min)

Glasgow - Loch Lomond:
Citylink operate various services that run from the centre of Glasgow picking up from various points including Glasgow airport that  take you to Balloch, Luss or Tarbet.  From which you can get a bus, taxi or waterbus to link you to Rowardennan. Balloch to Balmaha: 
Bus: No. 309 - Journey time: 14 mins. 

Glasgow to Drymen: 
Bus : No.8 (Glasgow to Balfron via Drymen).  At Drymen, change to local bus No 309 to Balmaha.

Water Bus Services

There are water bus services operated by Cruise Loch Lomond and Sweeny's Cruises.  It is possible to get to Rowardennan from Luss or Tarbet via water bus.

Speed Boat Taxi

Loch Lomond Leisure Scotland can provide a speedboat water taxi service between any points on Loch Lomond.  They are based at Luss, but can pick up from any point.

Nearest Airports

Glasgow Airport: is the closest airport, about 40km. The airport has excellent UK domestic connections, as well as flights to European, Mediterranean, and some Asian and US destinations.

Prestwick Airport: (also known as Glasgow Prestwick Airport, though it is not really in Glasgow) is about 90km away and has connections with UK and European destinations.

Edinburgh Airport: is about 100km, with connections through the UK, Europe, and some US connections.
