The lodge

The hoot is a spacious well equipped four bedroom lodge on the banks of Loch Lomond. Situated in a quiet private holiday lodge estate at the foot of Ben Lomond looking over Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. There is a sandy beach just in front of the lodge.  The hoot is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding area.

Beautifully furnished to make your stay fun, relaxing and memorable. The hoot sleeps eight guests in four bedrooms: en suite double, double, twin and bunk room. The lodge is 50ft long, has gas central heating throughout is fully double glazed and has a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The lodge's large luxurious open plan lounge / kitchen dining area has double glass doors and windows that look out to Loch Lomond. It has been beautifully furnished with comfortable lounging sofas and dining table for eight. There is flat screen television, with freesat, DVD player and sound bar (which you can connect to via Bluetooth) for your use, along with a selection of books, games and DVD's for you to enjoy during your stay.

The hoot's kitchen area comes fully equipped with all of the crockery, cutlery, and glassware needed for maximum occupancy. The cooking area is well equipped with gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and the all important dishwasher. The large dining table seats eight comfortably. Patio doors lead out to a large deck area with a sociable round picnic table that seats eight for al fresco dining. 

For those travelling with young children there is a travel cot and high chair provided.  The outdoor deck is also gated giving the option to become fully enclosed, making it a safer environment for younger children.

Absolutely amazing stay!! Photos do not do it justice. We had a fantastic family week away and loved it so much we booked next years before we even finished this one. Highly recommend.
